FRONT DOOR REFINISHING

A previous contractor stained the homeowners’ new custom modern double doors; they were unhappy with the results.  There is often a misconception that staining and refinishing is straightforward and requires little skill.  Staining, especially refinishing, is very nuanced and can be labor intensive.  We find that hand refinishing and staining yields much more depth and better results.  We removed the doors, installed temporary ones, and refinished the doors at our shop.  The before and after photos below speak for themselves.
